Bubble World _ nice place for a snack or a light meal

I have been to this place ever since it opened 
partially because it was one of the few places that opened late in surrey
and other because it had so many snacks that are not really snacks I love to munch on 
their menu is quite extensive 
and I did not have the patience to take pages of pictures 

However, not everything on the menu is tasty so you have to be careful 
(or just try and fail like me) 
usually their deep fried items are very hard to miss
noodles being more tricky
but the fried rice selections are generally good  

this is half of their taro bubble tea
it is usually served in a bigger  glass cup 
but if you ask, you can get them to split it into two cups
which is nice when you want to share with somebody else

their bubble tea is on quite sweet side
although most bubble teas are
but you can ask them to make it half sweet
and they are quite flexible in this

In my preference,
their milk teas are better that fruity ones
although I am not saying their bad,
it is just way to sweet  

This is shrimp fried rice 
which is well I can't say is really good 
but it is above average 
the rice is nicely separated, lightly seasoned 
and it is not skimpy on portion 
good stomach filler if you walked into this place hungry 

Deep fried Squid rings
This is my favourite menu in this place
and I think I order it every time I am here
the squid is very chewy and not skimpy in size 
and the mayo-like sauce it accompanies is sweet but salty and complements the squid very well
the better is very crispy too!!
and I just love it!! 

The staff is quite occupied when you go at busy hours 
(usually dinner time or later) 
and they only accept cash 
so keep this in mind if you are planning to visit
it is a nice place to stop by if you are near 
but it is not the type of place to plan a trip here 
just a fair warning 




PS I have not been to any other bubble world and I don't think the menu and the taste of food is standardized in other locations
