Bella Gelateria: Old-World Handcrafted Gelato

walking around waterfront 
to satisfy my sweet tooth 
i gravitated towards very brightly lit 
tiny gelato shop which has cute little gelato wagon in front

they had quite a huge selection of gelato 
but some were very unique
like chocolate bacon or lavender
but i craved something solid 
and this glass display made us gravitate towards it 
 

so we ordered ice cream sandwich
a cup of cappuccino and  milk hot chocolate 
 

for a tiny place, it had very elegant taste in lighting

the cookie was quite thin
and hard
it doesn't taste very good on its own
 

but boy i could tell they made some good gelato
the it was creamy and milky and strong in vanilla flavour
not those artificial vanilla you get at the grocery store
but full on vanilla bean vanilla
so...... yummy that it disappeared in matter of minutes
 

it was a cold day so i needed something warm 
to heat myself up before the ice cream sandwich
so i ordered myself a cappuccino (med) 
i didn't expect much since it wasn't really a cafe 
but it was foamed so well 
creamy in texture 
roast not too bitter 
everything i wanted in a cappuccino i found it 
 

milk hot chocolate (small) 
not too sweet
not very chocolaty
it is like hint of chocolate in warm milk
i am so used to thick rich hot chocolate at blenz or mink
 

cannoli - espresso and green tea 
these were delicious 
crispy flaky chocolate layered waffers 
went well with the creamy but chewy texture of the gelato
although i couldn't really taste the espresso flavour behind the chocolate
green tea you can definitely taste!! 

I really loved the gelato in the desserts that i tried 
and definitely would like to try their gelato!!! 
hoping that the weather will clear up soon!! 

i just love this place 
and the server was very nice 
and helpful 
and i would go there everyday
if the place was bit bigger.. and was more closer to my home... *sigh
